DIY – Used Tire Raised Garden & Tree Ring

This one isn’t mine, but it’s really cool. I found this Instructable detailing how to make a raised bed garden out of used tires and also how to use a tire (or two) as protection for young trees.

Thanks, Kelly! Ya, lots of use for old tires now, actually. I stumbled on this one when I was looking for information with that earlier post about tire logs.
Used tires get recycled into everything from doormats to track cushions (at the outdoor track-and-field) and more. Lots of useful things to be done with the things!
