Greenfiber Insultation

This stuff is pretty cool. It’s basically insulation for your home or buildings similar to the standard batting you roll out in the attick or stuff into the walls during construction. Except this stuff is made from 85% recycled paper fiber.
It comes in various R-values, so there’s probably one appropriate for your area. A home builder or contractor will know what’s best for your home, but the Energy Star website has great info along those lines as well. Click here for their graphical map of R-zones and recommendations.
There are a lot of huge benefits to using newer insulations in your home, especially if you’re remodeling or upgrading an older house. Check out Green Fiber at their website.
