The End of Small Farms? What you should know (and DO) about HR 875, HR 759, NAIS and Monsanto Posted on June 24th, 2009

RoundupThere is a push by Big Agra, large genetically-modified foods distributors like Monsanto, and others who stand to profit from a virtual monopoly on food production in the U.S. (and world).  Through a National Animal Identification System, which unfairly targets small and home farm livestock, and legislation designed to make it impossible to sell food without participating in costly and prohibitive federal regulation, these groups are trying to shut down your right to choose the best food for you, whether it be local or national.

This craziness needs to be shut down. To find out more about this tyranny in foods, go to my friend Shelly Roche’s website at Bytestyle.tv and read about it, get informed, watch her videos, and join the Roundup campaign to shut down Monsanto’s iron grip and the NAIS from coming back.

Luckily, the NAIS has so far been a complete failure and a thoughtful Congresswoman has seen to it that it is not funded in 2010.  This does not end the program, however, but only halts it for a year.  Let’s get it rescinded and dumped in the waste bin where it belongs!

Again, find out more at Shelly’s great site by clicking here.  There is also a Facebook group you can join at this link.
