The Big News About Overpopulation

I’m writing to tell you the biggest news regarding overpopulation, the planet’s ecological balance, and the future of humanity.

That big news is that I’m doing my best to help it along!  With my wife’s help, of course.  It took some time, but it looks like it’s happened now.  We went in for an ultra-sound Monday morning and confirmed that we are on week 14 and the little one has all the stuff a 3-inch long human is supposed to have at 14 weeks.

baby-14wks-8.0cm-1-croppedI won’t bore you with details about what the circumstances of our struggle has been.  Suffice it to say that my wife has been sick for a long time, was not getting proper care at the Veteran’s Administration, and it was only due to our own persistence and research that we found the real root of her problem.  Those years of struggle and fighting against the VA are the primary reason we do not support “public health care” options of any kind.  We’ve seen first hand how well they don’t work.

But this isn’t about ranting against what has been.  It’s about what’s going to be.  There are a lot of risks in this endeavor of ours, but we’re taking them.

So my wife and I have proudly entered the ranks of those who are overpopulating the world.  We’re even excited about it!
