Electric bicycles are SOOOOO last year. Now we’ve got electric, pedaling robots instead!
Meet Joules, the Tandem Bike Robot and its inventor, Carl. The challenge was to create a system to power a bicycle that ran on electricity and moved the bike by pumping the pedals, not turning the wheels. Carl, of course, isn’t the first guy to put a robot in charge of powering an electric vehicle.
Remember the Solar Powered Walking GW Chariot? Well, this isn’t as fancy, but it’s definitely just as cool.
