The word

S-10 conversion by Deitrich Ludwig

Dietrich Ludwig started work on the conversion before he had a driver’s license. For his 16th birthday, he got to drive his new creation.

He started with a stock 2000 Chevy S-10 truck, removed the engine, radiator, and other ICE components, and replaced them with batteries and a motor.

Deke plans to better the performance of the truck with improved batteries. He’s also got some improved engineering plans to upgrade it with.

For now, though, he is listed as the youngest person to have built an electric truck.

And so …

Pretty cool and all from a teenager in Ohio.
